[How To] Fixed Msfconsole and Msfupdate Can't Work {Linux Backtrack}

Often the problems of the operating system either closed source or open source, often crash, hang, or else there is an error.
And i have problem too, when i will run and update metasploit cli. Following step by step:

1. Open konsole or terminal then type cd /opt/metasploit

2. After entry into metasploit folder, type again with command:

git clone [https://github.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework.git](https://github.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework.git) msf3

Wait until process finished

3. Show with list command using “ls -l or ls -a” when finished.

Then exit and type command msfupdate and msfconsole
